We live in a world that celebrates busy.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve started believing that if we’re not constantly doing more, we’re somehow falling behind.

But God has been reminding me that a life filled with purpose is far more valuable than a life filled with busyness.

Purpose looks different for everyone. Some days it’s showing up for your family. Some days it’s doing your job with excellence. Some days it’s caring for your home, checking on a friend, or simply sitting quietly with your Bible before the day begins.

You don’t have to chase every opportunity or say yes to every request to live a meaningful life.

A quiet life rooted in purpose will always outgrow a busy life chasing perfection.

Today, choose what matters most. Let go of the pressure to do it all, and embrace the peace that comes from doing what God has actually called you to do.

I’m thankful to live in a country where I can raise my girls on a farm, worship freely, work hard, dream big, and share my faith without fear.

No nation is perfect, but I’m grateful to call this one home.

As we celebrate, may we continue to pray for wisdom for our leaders, protection for those who serve, and hearts that seek God above all else.

Learning to trust Him every day 🤍

I’m learning that when I feel under attack, my first response shouldn’t be fear—it should be turning to God.

The hardest moments are when my worries center around what I hold closest to my heart: my family. That’s where fear seems to grow the fastest. My mind races with “what ifs,” and it’s easy to let anxiety drown out truth.

But I’m learning that I don’t have to carry those fears alone.

Instead of letting worry take over, I’m choosing to pray. To open my Bible before I spiral. To remind myself that God loves my family even more than I do and that He is faithful in every season.

The enemy wants fear to steal my peace. God calls me to trust Him.

So when my heart feels overwhelmed, I’m learning to lay it at the feet of Jesus. Not because everything suddenly becomes easy, but because His peace is greater than my fear, and His presence is stronger than anything trying to shake my faith.
